Airnet has developed an Enterprise level Data Center allowing companies to be able to utilize and cost justify a secure and reliable data environment which provides the hosting infrastructure that constitutes, meets, and exceeds requirements for HIPAA, Sarbannes-Oxley, and other regulatory policies.
Airnet's Class A Hosting Facility provides triple-redundant power, ensuring no single point of failure along with critical environmental systems, security and connectivity. Our Data and Disaster Recovery facility is located in a building with two power grids from the City of Chattanooga's electrical provider, unique to other facilities. We maintain and ensure this level of critical redundancy on every aspect of our facility. A diagram and detailed description including electrical, environmentals, network infrastructure, fire protection, and security and access control can be provided upon request using the Fast Quote or Contact Us Form.
For the managed customer, Airnet provides updates, patches, routine maintenance, 24/7 monitoring, statistics, and log files as part of the collocation arrangement. If self management is a preference, we invite our clients to badge into our center and perform the diagnostics, updates, and maintenance routines as needed. Unique to other collocation facilities, Airnet believes in empowering the client to self manage without the constraints of scheduling specific appointment times to enter our facility. We do not require advance notification to allow client-approved personnel to enter our facility to perform self management operations, however there are surveillance cameras in operation 24 hours per day for the client security.
Beginning at $55 per "u" (1 ¾ inches of server height) per month, Airnet offers small amounts of rack space up to the full rack at a very affordable cost. With redundant power at the rack level, clients can ensure critical operations will run smoothly 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Period.
Backup of servers whether housed in our facility or onsite at your location can be performed daily, weekly, or at other intervals. Airnet takes pride in being able to meet specific client requests for backup according to the database, server, or application. In addition to the traditional tape backup, Airnet performs backup on actual servers, effectively copying files within a matter of seconds to restore complete configurations. The cost for backup operations is dependent upon the scope of work, beginning at around $125 per month.
Increased Bandwidth
The heartbeat of our hosting facility lies within the strength of our Tier One internet providers, AT&T and BellSouth. Both major carriers have installed OC- 192 level facilities, equivalent to 4,032 T1 lines or 129,024 voice channels. Qwest and Sprint have also brought OC level connectivity into our facilities. Touting the first, direct "On and Off Ramp" to the Internet for Chattanooga, Airnet delivers amazingly low-cost, high speed connectivity to our customers.
We offer several bandwidth cost points and the elimination of the local loop or last mile fees, making it easy to calculate the value of a proper environment for critical data equipment.
With our clients ever changing needs, we formulated a unique Bandwidth offering to allow clients to pay for the bandwidth that they actually use, not paying for an interstate highway infrequently traveled. Based upon a 95th percentile calculation, clients can pay actual usage for bandwidth with the 5% highest usage discarded. As an alternate preference for budgeting, we offer sliding scale bandwidth usage/rates to fit any requirement and budget. This has proven to be a popular option for businesses previously forced to rely on traditional circuits.
